As the Ciao Philadelphia Festival unfolds across the city, Drexel joins in celebrating the Italian spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship with a panel event at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum. On October 30 at 5:00pm, a roundtable discussion with Drexel leaders in design fields will be moderated by Dr. Donna Decarolis, Dean of the Close School for Entrepreneurship.
Panel members will include our faculty Dr. Frank Lee, Director of the Entrepreneurial Game Studio; Michael Glaser, Product Design Program Director; and Genvieve Dion, Director of the Shima Seiki Haute Technology Laboratory; as well as Andrea Canepari, Consul General of Italy to Philadelphia and Fred Simeone, Executive Director of the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum.
Surrounded by legendary examples of innovation from the Simone automotive collection of many of the world’s greatest road racing machines, the panel will discuss the future of innovation and entrepreneurship as well as the Italian tradition that celebrates creativity and design. This event is free and open to the public.
Ciao Philadelphia is a month-long celebration of all things Italian organized by the Italian Consulate of Philadelphia.
