The latest episode of DNEWS, our award-winning monthly TV news magazine, which airs on DUTV throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area aired on October 31 and is available to watch here. Stories for DNEWS are shot, edited and presented by students from the Department of Cinema & Television and from all Drexel Schools and Colleges.
Hosted by John LaRussa and edited by Ryan Savage, both students in the Film & Video program, the episode includes a feature on West Philadelphia/Mantua artist James Dupree, who has for several years fought the City’s eminent domain laws to keep his art studio. The episode also covers ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT creator Mitchell Hurwitz’s recent visit to Drexel; a new beer tasting class at Drexel’s Center for Hospitality and Sport Management; Halloween-themed content such as Philadelphia ghost tours and ten dollar costumes, and more.
