Film & Video
May 27, 2014
A one-day film festival will take place on the afternoon of Friday, June 13, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at International House (3701 Chestnut Street), to showcase senior Film & Video students’ capstone projects. Students worked for three terms to produce films in a variety of genres and styles, with subject matter ranging from the disappearance of an American town to social apps gone bad, as well as experimental forays into color and found footage.
More than 20 short films will be screened during the event. Nearly all student filmmakers cast professional actors as leads in their projects, and have created films that demonstrate a professional level of cinematography, editing, production and post-production work. Free and open-to-the-public, the event is a great chance to see the comedic, dramatic, documentary and experimental visions of this promising next generation of filmmakers.
