Nick Cassway, Design & Merchandising Assistant Teaching Professor, was recently featured in a WHYY video segment on “Art and the Unexpected” for his steel portraits of inmates in the death row population sentenced as juveniles. The portraits, which are treated in a way that causes them to decay and fade, were commissioned and exhibited as an installation by the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia.
