Mediterranean & Guitar Ensembles March 7, 2013 The Mediterranean Ensemble and Guitar Ensemble will transport their audience to the world of Gypsy/Romani music when they’re joined on the Mandell stage for a free concert with the terrific West Philadelphia Orchestra on Wednesday, March 13th at 7:30 PM. The West Philadelphia Orchestra plays a raucous and fun mix of Romanian ballads, Macedonian folk-dance songs, Bulgarian wedding music, and Klezmer, as well genre-bending original tunes incorporating jazz and classical.
