Nina Henderson Challenge

February 20, 2013

The Nina Henderson Challenge is a business plan competition opportunity open only to Westphal students. Student teams from all of the College's programs are invited to develop and submit a three-page business concept paper and later, if they choose, a completed business plan for competitive consideration. If you are a Westphal student interested in entrepreneurship, this is your moment to develop an original idea while competing for recognition and cash awards.

The Nina Henderson Challenge requires entrants to submit a three-page Business Concept Paper by February 4, 2013. The top four concept papers will be recognized and awarded $500 each. In spring term, entrants will be invited to submit their completed business plans by April 22, 2013. Judges in the Nina Henderson Challenge select the best three plans with winners receiving $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second place and $1,000 for third place.

Guidelines providing detailed advance registration information and directions for both competitive phases can be found here. Beth Phillips, Design & Merchandising Professor, coordinates the competition for the College and if you have questions, please contact Beth at bp32@drexel.edu.
