D&M Hosts Brooks Brothers President Diane Ellis
April 10, 2013
One of America's oldest retailers, Brooks Brothers has been dressing men for nearly two centuries in its trademark classic styling of suits and outerwear. Its long legacy includes being the choice of presidents – including President Lincoln, who was wearing a Brooks Brothers suit and overcoat when he was assassinated. Since joining Brooks Brothers in September 2007, President and Chief Operating Officer Diane Ellis has been one of the leaders driving her company’s recent reinvigoration.
The Design & Merchandising program is pleased to announce Diane Ellis as this year’s d&m Distinguished Speaker. Ellis will share experiences from her diverse background in marketing, merchandising, merchandise planning, operations, finance and strategic planning with the Drexel community on April 10th at 6 p.m. in the URBN Annex Large Screening Room (3401 Filbert St.)
Ellis began her professional career in 1979 at Joseph Horne's Department Stores and has since served with consulting firms whose principal focus was consumer product and specialty retail companies. She previously served as managing director of Price Waterhouse Coopers.
