MADKO Concerts, the concert production and promotion arm of our award-winning student-run record label MAD Dragon records, is closing out the first term with a retro rock show at the Legendary Dobbs on South St. Students are handling all aspects of the show including production, event management, promotion, and marketing.  The show is Saturday, December 1st at 8 PM and tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door. The show features a group of emerging acts including Satellite Hearts, a rock band that combines a raw, unpolished, and unapologetic sound of today, with the soul of true classic rock; The World at Large, a hook-driven, harmony-favoring group that mixes a pleasantly retro sound that has a Beatles-esque feel to it; and Ominous Ominous Ominous, an indie/garage/surf punk band with a rough-around-the-edges sound who recently released their first LP. The Warbirds round out the line-up with a mellow sound driven by their simple melodic riffs.
