Drexel Players at the Philly Fringe

August 23, 2012

The Drexel Players are making their Fringe debut with MONUMENT, an interactive theatre piece conceived by Laurel Hostak and directed by Cara Blouin. The show is being produced, written, designed, and performed solely by Drexel students and alumni. This marks the first time the Players have created an original piece of theatre on their own. The plot unfolds amidst the assorted reactions of humanity after a great hole appears in the sky. An Architect is tasked with assembling a team to build a structure that will continue to stand even if all of civilization is destroyed. Performances will take place in the Sanctuary Space at The Rotunda, 4014 Walnut Street, on Thursday, Sept. 13 & Friday, Sept. 14 @ 7pm, Saturday, Sept 15 @ 1pm & 6pm, and Sunday, Sept 16 @ 1 pm. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at: livearts-fringe.ticketleap.com/MONUMENT.
