Research Day 2011
March 29, 2011
Drexel's annual Research Day is Friday, April 8th which is coming up quickly. The Westphal College always takes great pride in the large number of impressive projects presented by our students. For students interested in participating, abstracts of your project (a short description of your project) are due no later than Tuesday, March 29th, 2011. They can be electronically submitted to the improved registration page by clicking here.
Research Day is a chance for all Drexel students to showcase their research and creative work in the arts, humanities, sciences and engineering, but our students' research often looks different. This year Westphal students will present animations and video games, film and video, dance performances and a variety of design presentations.
We strongly encourage students, faculty and staff to join in this celebration of research, innovation, scholarship and creativity at the Daskalakis Athletic Center (DAC). Cash prizes will be awarded to the best presentations from undergrads and grads at the University reception at the Recreation Center Gallery (1st floor) immediately following Research Day, and announcement of separate Westphal Awards will follow thereafter.
