Our 2nd annual performance Charrette, WIRED, will be held from April 8th to April 10th in the Mandell Theater. WIRED will give students 48 hours to integrate a set of parameters and solve performance challenges that involve digital media, theater, dance and technology culminating in a performance piece that will be presented  in the Mandell Theater on Sunday, April 10th at 4  PM.  Spontaneity and limitations will be explored as interdisciplinary teams work together to discover their own solutions within the given parameters. Students will be put to the test in this creative challenge and the audience will get to witness what unfolds in a performance that promises to be innovative and unexpected. 

Students from all disciplines are invited to be a part of WIRED.  We are looking for dancers, choreographers, actors and students working with digital media, electrical engineering and music technology.  Students must be able to commit to working intensively with their teams on the weekend of April 8th-10th. To kickoff the Charrette on Wednesday, April 6th at 6 PM, there will be a workshop on digital media and dance led by MIRO Dance Theater at the Ellen Forman Dance Studio. 

Faculty mentors for the Charrette include Olive Prince, Dance Professor; Ted Artz, Digital Media Professor and Mark Andrews, Technical Director of the Mandell Theater.
