New D&M Magazine June 10, 2011 The new issue of D&M Magazine was unveiled last Saturday at our annual fashion show. Rivaling the best fashion and lifestyle magazines, D&M is created by Design & Merchandising students in the fall and winter Media Merchandising class with plenty of help from photography students. D&M students take part in all aspects of the magazine's creation–from writing content, to stylizing the magazine's highly designed look, to art directing the photo shoots—all of the content results from our student's work. Further emphasizing the real world experience, the Media Merchandising class offers select students the opportunity to participate as editors in the magazine's development process. This year's leadership team included Editor-in-Chief Naomi Huober, Co-editor-in-Chief Rachel Raudenbush, Art Director Meghan Lynch and Photography Production Editor Sara Gautieri. Our photography team included Andre Rucker, Kendall Massimo and Dana Kozeff. The magazine is intended for audiences beyond the college so the final product is expected to be a professional-level publication. We are proud to say that this new issue with stories on Philadelphia's spas, street musicians, murals and the locavore lifestyle will not disappoint.
