The Theatre program will host several acclaimed theater companies as part of the Network of Ensemble Theaters micro-festival (NET Fest) on Saturday, January 29th.  Workshops will be led by the Barrymore award-winning Pig Iron Theatre company, the first Mandell Professionals in Residence Project Company, and by First Person Arts.  NET Fest is a national coalition of ensembles created by and for artists that links a diverse array of ensembles and practitioners to one another to encourage collaborations and knowledge building.

In addition to the workshop led by Pig Iron and First Person, recent Entertainment & Arts Management graduates Bob Wuss, Chris Sannino and Kevin Butterby, founders of the Shakedown project, will give an in-progress showing of their latest work Revolution and a Sandwich.  Bob, Chris and Kevin created the Shakedown Project as part of their senior thesis and premiered their original work, Jonathan, at the Rotunda in 2010.  This time, they've teamed with Philly playwright Jeremy Gable to create a new social satire focusing on an average Philadelphia kid, who learns the hard way how to win over hearts and minds in the internet age.
