December 2, 2011
The latest episode of DNews, our student-produced news program on all things Drexel and Philly, will air on DUTV tonight, Friday, December 2nd at 8 PM. This episode of DNews will conclude the DUTV Student Fest, which has been airing student-produced programming since November 28th.
Chris Ferguson, Astronaut and Drexel Alumnus, was on campus last month to talk about his last mission to space. He sat down with Julia Fisher to discuss the mission patches he bought into space that were designed by our graphic design students. Film student, Mandy Freas, participated in the 48 Hour Film Festival and you’ll be able to follow her on her quest to produce a film in just 48 hours.
Maria Papadakis headed over to the Franklin Institute for their newest interactive exhibit CSI: The Experience, running until January 2nd. Tune in to see if she was able to solve the case. Karen Curry, Director of The Kal and Lucille Rudman Institute for Entertainment Industry studies, sat down for a one-on-one interview with Seth Rudestsky, an actor, musician and radio host who was on campus to host a workshop with students and to perform his one man show. Tune into DUTV on Verizon Fios and Comcast on channels 37 and 54 respectively or on Drexel campus television station 33. DNews is made possible, in part, through the generous support of the Kal and Lucille Rudman Institute for Entertainment Industry Studies.
