White Irish Drinkers

White Irish Drinkers is an acclaimed film about two brothers from a tumultuous home in Brooklyn, New York. Looking for a way out of their blue-collar neighborhood, they make a pact to rob a local theater the night of a Rolling Stones concert. The film, starring Stephen Lang, Peter Rigert and Karen Allen, was an Official Selection at the 2010 Toronto and Torino Film Festivals and the 2011 Galway and Atlanta film festivals. It won the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2010 Woodstock Film Festival and was a finalist for the 2010 Gotham Festival Genius Award. We will screen the film on Thursday, April 21st at 7 PM in University Crossings Large Screening Room (028).
Following the screening there will be a Q&A with the film's writer-director- producer John Gray, creator of the series GHOST WHISPERER, and his wife and the producer of the film Melissa Peltier, a successful documentary and reality show producer.
