The Graphic Design program has won twelve Awards of Excellence in the 40th Annual University & College Designers Association Design Competition. This is the greatest number of wins we have ever had in this international juried competition. The judges evaluated nearly 1,300 print pieces and awarded a total of 213 Awards of Excellence. The work will be featured in the UCDA Exhibition 40 in Minneapolis, Minnesota from October 2nd to the 5th.

The Graphic Design program won eleven out of only sixteen awards presented in the student project category and had one win in the published work category. Our wins represent a diverse range of media: book design, packaging, motion graphics, logo design, exhibit graphics, and announcement design. The work was created by students from sophomore to senior level. These wins bring our total to an outstanding 57 awards for the 2009-2010 academic year.
