This past weekend the Drexel Players and MPiRP resident company, 11th Hour Theatre Company, began performances of Jonathan Larson’s hit musical RENT at the Mandell Theater, filling the house at every performance. The production, featuring several professional theatre artists and eight Drexel students, is on stage through November 21st. After creating buzz with their behind the scenes video blog and Mandell Lobby makeover, the cast of RENT visited NBC’s The 10! Show on Monday, November 1st and performed “Season’s of Love” from the production. Click here to watch the performance.

Tickets are on sale now at the Mandell Theater Box Office for the rock musical that changed modern musical theater. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The cost per ticket is $15 to $30 (general public) and $5 for Drexel students, faculty and staff.
