Fairmount Ensemble & Drexel Chorus Concert

Guest artists from the Fairmount Chamber Ensemble joined the Drexel Chorus and Chamber Singers for an afternoon concert on Sunday, March 14th at 3 PM in the Main Auditorium.

The Fairmount Chamber Ensemble features Penny Shumate (soprano), Maren Montalbano (mezzo), Perry Brisbon (tenor) and Jim Kirk (bass), world-class musicians who have performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Opera Company of Philadelphia.

These distinguished guest artists joined our University Chorus and Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Steven Powell, for a performance of Franz Joseph Haydn’s Theresienmesse and Edward Benjamin Britten’s Cantata Misericordium.
