Got Art? Got Craft? October 20, 2009 The Kiosk, a "pop-up' retail learning lab featuring the work of Westphal students, faculty, staff and alumni is soon to be launched by Design & Merchandising students in Heather Osgood's Visual Merchandising class. They're now seeking your art or craft work be it framed or matted photos, prints, paintings or drawings, jewelry or fashion accessories, CDs of your original music or your original films to sell at the Kiosk. To insure an array of high quality offerings, a jury of students and faculty will determine which submissions will be for sale. Sellers will receive 60% of the price of objects sold. The remaining funds will support the Design & Merchandising program. The kiosk will be up and running from November 30th through December 4th in Chapman Court (the lobby of Nesbitt Hall) just in time to help with your holiday gift giving. So, please share your creative work with us by submitting prior to the the deadline for submissions of October 27th!
