Azuka Theatre Workshop

Azuka Theatre Company will be in residence as part of the Mandell Professionals in Residence Project (MPiRP) this fall to stage The Long Christmas Ride Home incorporating Drexel student actors . The residency will also include a workshop in "Noh Theatre' presented by performance artist and actor Greg Giovanni. Noh Theatre combines elements of traditional Chinese theater with Japanese dance movement and chant. Giovanni is trained in the art of Noh and is a founding member of Theatre Nohgaku, the international Noh company. The workshop will be on Saturday, October 3rd from 11 AM to 6 PM in the Ellen Foreman Dance Studio adjacent to the Mandell Theater (33rd & Chestnut Sts.).
