Philadelphia architectural firm Voith & Mactavish is known for its innovative designs created within the context of tradition. The firm has been honored for its restoration of Drexel's Paul Peck Alumni Center, the A.J. Drexel Picture Gallery and for recreating the chandelier in the Main Building's Great Court. Voith & Mactavish recently celebrated their 20th anniversary with the exhibition Structure, Purpose, Beauty: 20 Years, at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia, which showcased the firm's wide range of projects including educational facilities, performing arts venues, houses of worship, residences and historic preservation projects. This exhibition, consisting of original drawings, photographs and models, will be on display in the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery through July 24th. An opening reception in the gallery will be July 17th at 5:30 PM.
Partner Cameron Mactavish is a Drexel graduate and the recipient of the Rankin Alumni Award. Voith & Mactavish actively hires Drexel students for both co-op and post- graduate positions. The exhibit is sponsored by our Department of Architecture and Interiors.
