The holiday season is a perfect time to give back to the community and in that spirit we are happy to announce that our college was able to donate 101 computers to organizations and schools in our area throughout the year.

Computers that can no longer be used by our college are donated to schools and organizations based on need. The college can often donate a large quantity of computers at one time because when labs are updated in their entirety all of the unused computers can be donated. The recipients are always more than thrilled to receive the computers. If you know of any school or organization that would like to receive donated computers please email Jason Rappaport, Systems Administrator, at jasonrap@drexel.edu. Please note that only schools and organizations are eligible for donations.

We were able to donate the following over the course of 2009

Philadelphia School District

• 20 Apple G4 Desktops, 4 Apple G5 Desktops and 20 ADC LCDs

Drexel University's Tech Serve

• 10 Dell Dimension 4700 Desktops, 3 Dell Powervault Desktops and 18 Shuttle desktops
• 10 G4 Apple Desktops, 12 ADC LCDs

Lawrenceville Township Technology Center, NJ

• 20 Dell Precision 530 Workstations

Red White and Blue Second Hand Shop, Hamilton, NJ

• 16 Dell Dimension 2350 desktops
