World-changing Graphics October 23, 2008 We recently acquired a remarkable collection of Polish poster art assembled as a lifetime passion by collector Frank Fox. Now we’ll showcase some of the collection’s finest pieces in the Leonard Pearlstein Gallery along with a screening of filmmakers Andrea Marks and Glenn Holsten’s Freedom on the Fence, their documentary exploring the political, social and artistic import of poster art in Poland. Marks and Holsten, as Rankin-Scholars-In-Residence, will give a lecture open to the public and work with Graphic Design and Film & Video students.
