Former WHYY Vice President Joins Westphal College

The Kal & Lucille Rudman Institute for Entertainment Industry Studies in the Westphal College is proud to welcome Paul Gluck as its Executive Director. Mr. Gluck joins the Westphal College from WHYY where he was Vice President and Station Manager overseeing content, production and distribution for the television, radio and digital divisions of the PBS channel.
As Executive Director, Paul will be charged with the responsibility of ensuring that all the college assets such as DUTV and the Paul F. Harron Studios, are used to maximum effectiveness by Drexel students as they learn innovative methods to develop and distribute content via television and broadband. He’ll develop new curriculum related to the entertainment industry and will also be responsible for the development of symposia, guest speakers, and panel discussions to deepen the connection between the university and the entertainment industry and to engage industry leaders and practitioners in dialogue about the important issues of the day.
The Kal & Lucille Rudman Institute of Entertainment Industry Studies is made possible through a grant from Kal & Lucille Rudman. Its mission is to foster activities that bring together the resources of Drexel University with the entertainment industry to help shape the thinking that will determine the entertainment of tomorrow.
