Architectural Photographer, Julius Shulman, Lectures at Drexel University

Julius Shulman will offer the fall lecture in the 2005-2006 Farajollah & Maryam Badie Lecture Series in Architecture on the night of November 8th at the Bossone Auditorium at Drexel. With a career spanning seventy years, Shulman is one of the twentieth-century's preeminent architectural photographers. His iconic images are immediately recognizable to anyone familiar with American Modern architecture. Voted an honorary fellow of AIA, he recently photographed the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao at the request of Frank Gehry. Shulman's work is currently the focus of a retrospective exhibition at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.
