Call for Proposals: Rankin Scholar-in-Residence 2006

December 19, 2005

Proposals for the Rankin Scholar-in-Residence for the upcoming calendar (2006) year are now being solicited from Westphal College faculty members.

The Rankin Scholar-in-Residence award, named in honor of former Dean Marjorie Rankin and established through the continuing donations of her friends and colleagues, seeks to bring noted individuals to campus who excel in any of the fields related to the Antoinette Westphal Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. Goals of the program include: inspiring students, stimulating faculty; invigorating the professional field, and aiding in the continuing development of the College.

Westphal College faculty members should have received an e-mail explaining the nomination process. For a copy of the e-mail, or for additional information, contact Larry Epstein, Assistant Dean (215-895-1623 or lepstein@drexel.edu). Nominators should submit proposals to their Department Head for their recommendation, and then forward them to the Dean's office by Monday, December 19, 2005.
