David Greenberg won an award from The American Film Institute for his short film "The True Meaning Of Cool." In 2006 he has written and/or been contracted to write a total of six feature film screenplays, two documentary screenplays and several treatments in addition to an overwhelming load of pro-bono work. One feature film, "What Matters Most" is tentatively scheduled to be shot in New York City in October 2006 and negotiations are underway for a production of another screenplay. He has worked as a writer-for-hire developing projects for the film division of a record label that were pitched to HBO, Abel Ferrera, Forest Whitaker and others. His original screenplays have attracted attention throughout the industry, from Oscar nominated producers to Sundance Award winners. He regularly consults with established filmmakers who seek him out for his advice and opinions. He is currently working in pre-production on his first feature film project, "Aftermath", which has alre
ady generated interest from top level distributors. His feature film credits include "Pet Sematary" and the independent film "Signs Of Life."
