Nanci Gaglio

Nanci Gaglio is a recent transplant from San Francisco where she taught screenwriting at UC Berkeley. Her short films have screened in over 100 film festivals worldwide and have received favorable reviews and awards. Nanci has developed and written original projects for the BBC and HBO, and served on several development teams for A-list studio directors and producers. She received her MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in Dramatic Writing.

Nanci Gaglio is an independent writer / director whose narrative short films have won several awards, and screened in over 150 film festivals across the world. Ms. Gaglio is the creator and exec-producer of VENUS RISING, a TV series previously in development with BBC and Channel 4 in London. Her latest script THANK DOG!, a feature, is currently in development in New York. Ms Gaglio is an active member of several professional film organizations including Film Fatales in New York City, NY Women in Film & TV, The Philadelphia Film Society, and the San Francisco Film Society where she participates as film juror, screenwriting instructor, and distribution consultant.
