Catherine Fox Byers is an Assistant Professor in Drexel University’s Design & Merchandising program. Prior to joining Drexel, she was Director of Marketing and Communications for Dansko, Inc., a euro-comfort footwear brand, for seven years.
Her career also includes more than 20 years in marketing and communications, including 10 years at Writers, Inc., where she served as Vice President. She has received awards from the Ad Club of Delaware and from Mohawk Papers for projects at Dansko and Writers, Inc.
Catherine serves as a Board member at NEXUS foundation for today’s art. She also played an active role in founding the Dansko Foundation and served as its President for five years.
She holds an MA in Public Affairs Journalism from the American University, and a BA from Barnard College.
