Scott D. Bacon is the Ensemble Coordinator and an Assistant Teaching Professor in Music at Drexel University. Mr. Bacon teaches courses in Rock Music, American Popular Music, Percussion, Introduction to Music, and a course on the Music of The Beatles. He also conducts The All College Choir.
Prior to joining Drexel University, Mr. Bacon taught choral music for 10 years in Maryland and Pennsylvania. His high school choirs traveled extensively and received excellent and superior ratings at festivals in the United States and Canada. He was twice nominated to Who’s Who of American High School Teachers. Mr. Bacon is also active as an adjudicator for Choral ensembles.
Mr. Bacon received his Master of Science in Higher Education from Drexel University in September of 2008 and his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Elizabethtown College in 1992. Mr. Bacon is also the faculty advisor for Pi Nu Epsilon, an honorary student performing arts fraternity at Drexel, and the Cleftomaniacs - a mixed voice acapella group. He also conducts a church choir in his home town of Lititz, Pa.
