The Fashion and Design & Merchandising programs will host Christina Binkley, fashion journalist at The Wall Street Journal, on Thursday, November 15th at 2 PM in URBN, Room 349. Binkley has written for The Wall Street Journal since 1994, covering real-estate scams and follies, gambling, and the hotel industry. In 2006, Journal editors decided that Binkley was a natural for the fashion and luxury design industries and assigned her the beat. Christina writes her fashion column On Style each Thursday, in an attempt to make consumer sense of this fast-paced multi-billion dollar industry.

Christina’s book about the gambling moguls who turned Las Vegas into a luxury hub, “Winner Takes All,” was published by Hyperion Books in March 2008. She is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and lives in Los Angeles.
