Following on strong showings in previous years, Drexel Interior Architecture students John Bassanello and Rachel Ayella-Silver were recognized in the IIDA Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware chapter’s Student Design Competition. Bassanello was awarded first place for his Hospitality Studio submission, and Ayella-Silver received honorable mention for her Community Studio submission.   

IIDA’s annual showcase recognizes and promotes talented students who are also IIDA members. Participants are asked to refine and submit work which they have completed as part of their university studio coursework. This year’s reception was held virtually and featured A&D Design Director for Mohawk Group, Royce Epstein, as the evening’s guest speaker.
