Interior Architecture & Design graduate students presented their thesis topics and preliminary research at our annual Thesis Podium Event. The evening started with each student giving a three-minute presentation of their topic and was followed by breakout discussions with faculty and invited guests to help further define and articulate their ideas. 

The event is a great opportunity for students to engage with Philadelphia’s professional community in the current design discourse and many of the professionals will be paired with a student to advise them in their continued research and design development. This year there are sixteen thesis students pursuing a range of topics from Landscape as Interior in Urban Desert Climates to Third Places and the Provision of Sociability.  

Thesis research and programming continues through the winter and spring quarters and culminates in a final presentation in May.
