Susan Hahn, Administrative Assistant, Department of Architecture & Interiors

The Department of Architecture & Interiors welcomes Susan Hahn as its new administrative assistant. Ms. Hahn has more than fifteen years of experience in organization, database management and human resources, including in nonprofit, university, and arts and small business environments. She received her BA in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and studied modern architecture history with Frank Lloyd Wright Fellow architect Carl Book as well as modern and classical art at City College of San Francisco.
She also served as Film Archivist of the Pacific Film Archive/Berkeley Art Museum at UC Berkeley after interning with archivist Rick Prelinger at the Internet Archive and with film historian David Kiehn at the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum. She worked for several years with Rainbow Grocery Cooperative in San Francisco, and was an administrative assistant at Eth-Noh-Tec Creations, a nonprofit Asian American performing arts organization; as well as a volunteer at the Association of Moving Image Archivists in Los Angeles. She is a collector of art books, a sometimes filmmaker and an enthusiastic new resident of Philadelphia.
