AIAS Beaux Arts Ball Feb. 21

Over winter break, 10 Westphal students from our Architecture & Interiors programs attended the American Institute of Architecture Students' (AIAS) FORUM 2013 in Chicago, alongside 1,000 of their peers from across the country! Students participated in workshops and attended multiple keynote speakers, who spoke about their drive for social activism and community participation in the architecture field today. There was time for sightseeing as well, including visits to the Willis Tower, John Hancock Tower, Unity Temple, and the Auditorium Theater, to name a few that are mentioned in Dr. Mark Brack's Architecture and Society courses.
Pictured here is the Drexel crew at the traditional Beaux Arts Ball on New Year's Eve, held this year at the National Field Museum. For those interested in attending a Beaux Arts Ball closer to campus, all students are invited to attend Drexel's AIAS Beaux Arts Ball on February 21st at the Center for Architecture (1216 Arch Street)!
