UHC Postdoctoral Research Fellow Opeyemi Babajide, PhD, MSc, will discuss recent grant proposals.

 

Dr. Babajide is a doctoral graduate from the Faculty of Public Health, University of Ibadan with a focus in medical demography, and has research interests spanning population dynamics, health disparities, and social determinants of health. She was a research fellow at the 3-D Commission of the Boston University School of Public Health, where she was part of the novel research and conversations on issues of global population health at the intersection of the social determinants of health and data science for better decision-making in megacities. At the Urban Health Collaborative, she hopes to focus on investigating the complexities and understanding dynamics to possibly strengthen non-health systems in African cities for sustainable urban health.
