In partnership with the Big Cities Health Coalition (BCHC), the Drexel Urban Health Collaborative (UHC) has released new data on the Big Cities Health Inventory. The Big Cities Health Inventory is a data platform that includes more than 100,000 data points for over 100 metrics of public health importance to 35 big cities across the nation. The data platform can be used for viewing charts for single cities as well as comparing metrics across cities, and data can be downloaded.

Recently, new metrics were added on COVID-19 deaths. The data platform was also updated to include available data for all metrics spanning years 2010 – 2020.

The Big Cities Health Coalition is a forum for the leaders of America’s largest metropolitan health departments to exchange strategies and jointly address issues to promote and protect the health and safety of their residents. Recently, six new jurisdictions have joined the Big Cities Health Coalition and have been added to the data platform:

• El Paso, Texas
• Louisville, Kentucky
• Memphis, Tennessee
• Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
• Tucson, Arizona
