Introduction to Departments
The Division of Administrative and Business Services (ABS) is the largest non-academic administrative unit at Drexel University. It includes the combined operations of over 45 offices and departments with approximately 2,300 university, student, contract and union employees. The Senior Vice President manages over $260 million in revenue and expense divisional operating budgets and over $100 million in capital expenditures yearly.
Overseeing nearly all of the University's administrative functions with few exceptions, the major departments within ABS are led by an executive management team of professionals that constitutes one of the most unique divisions among any peer institution in higher education.
All departments foster individual missions that work toward a common goal of supporting the University's Strategic Plan and the Division's mission, to provide excellence in services and programs to advance Drexel’s living, learning, working and fun environments.
