Information Resources and Technology

The Office of Information Resources and Technology (IRT), focuses on technology that is core to the institution to improve productivity and access, recognizing the next generation of learning styles, to aide in advancing the University’s academic and administrative initiatives.

IRT is divided into three departments and a business office: Core Enterprise Systems is responsible for providing "mission critical" enterprise information services to the University community centering around finance, human resources and student information to meet the instructional, research, and administrative needs of students, faculty, and staff; Instructional Technology Support manages and directs user support and training, web-based software development, the integration of electronic resources with academic departments, and outreach initiatives with Drexel's partner schools and affiliated institutions; and Core Technology Infrastructure is responsible for voice, data, and video communications, computing support for ongoing production systems and seamless support for all administrative and academic computing needs of the University. The IRT Business Office supports for the ongoing day-to-day business needs of all the departments.
