Drexelready Emergency Preparedness

Emergency Preparedness at Drexel University is managed under the DrexelReady program. DrexelReady program contains two parts: personal preparedness plan and institutional preparedness program. The Office of the Emergency Preparedness oversees the implementation of the Drexel University Emergency Preparedness Plan on all campuses.

The DrexelReady program combines planning, education, and practical exercises. DrexelReady is designed to improve institutional action and individual reaction in the event of an emergency.

You can be a part of the DrexelReady program by becoming a Building Emergency Response Team (BERT) member; knowing locations of AEDs in your building; memorizing your building’s Emergency Bulletin recommendations; partnering with DrexelReady through educational presentations and drills, all to ensure your safety and the safety of your fellow community members. Please take time to review this important part of our website and familiarize yourself with the many resources available to you here at Drexel.
