Donald Mueller spoke at the July 28 event welcoming him to St. Christopher's Hospital.
After being announced as the new chief executive officer for St. Christopher's Hospital for Children last month, Donald Mueller officially started at the hospital, which is located in North Philadelphia and owned and operated in partnership between Drexel University and Tower Health, effective July 27.
On July 28, he was officially welcomed at an event featuring remarks from Drexel University President John Fry and President and CEO of Tower Health Clint Matthews.
“I’m really incredibly excited and confident about the future of St. Chris and the many, many advantages it provides for medical education at Drexel and our colleague medical schools throughout the city, and I think with Don’s experience and his temperament we found the right person to lead us,” Fry said, later adding, “In Don, I see someone who fully embraces the mission shared by Drexel and Tower Health to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care, medical education and innovative use-inspired research.”
