Nominate a Colleague for AOA Membership

Nominations are open for election into the College of Medicine's chapter (Delta Zeta) of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. You do not need to be a member of AOA to nominate a deserving candidate.

Alumni: The chapter may elect up to five alumni, 10 or more years after their graduation, who have distinguished themselves in their professional careers and are judged on the basis of achievement to be qualified.

Faculty: The chapter may elect up to five College of Medicine faculty members who have distinguished themselves in their professional careers and are judged on the basis of achievement to be qualified. These nominees must hold an earned doctoral degree.

Residents and Fellows: The chapter may elect to membership up to six graduate trainees after their first year of training, based on continued achievement and promise.

Submit nominations online. Include a brief description of the nominee's achievements and upload a copy of the nominee's CV at the time you submit your nomination. Self-nominations are not accepted.

Deadline: December 17, 2018.

To see if your nominee is already a member, visit the Alpha Omega Alpha website, find "Locate a Member" in the left-hand column and enter the last name of your nominee.
