  • Review the Adverse Childhood Experiences study
  • Compile resources to alleviate the effects of poverty in the children you see
  • Review the epidemiology of hunger and food insecurity
  • Discuss the impact of hunger and food insecurity on families
  • Outline an approach to screening for and addressing food insecurity in health care settings
  • Describe the components of the SPEAC model
  • Identify opportunities to become involved in the fight against hunger
