Witnesses Exhibit at PA State Capital
January 13, 2010
Witnesses to Hunger opened its second exhibition on its Pennsylvania state tour on Monday, January 11, in the State Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The opening was hosted by Senator Bob Casey and his wife Terese Casey, and two new witnesses from central Pennsylvania, Tina M. and Ernestine D., spoke about the challenges of raising children on a fixed income and the need for change at the policy level.
This event brought together state legislators, representatives from the USDA, and local politicians who came to hear from these brave witnesses and view their photographs. The exhibition includes new photographs taken by photographers from across the state of Pennsylvania and will be on display in the capitol until Friday, January 23.
