Alden Hoke, an ambitious freshman majoring in Civil Engineering with a minor in Computer Science has been awarded the prestigious Freeman-ASIA Award for his upcoming study abroad program in the fall. Alden will be attending the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore as an exchange student.
As an aspiring engineer, Alden is eager to learn from and be immersed in the technology and innovation driven culture of Singapore. He is equally looking forward to the cultural aspect of this unique country and the entirety of South East Asia, which he also plans to explore, notably the incredible food, the nature and animal life and the rich history.
For his study abroad, Alden was in search of a truly holistic experience, where he could receive a stellar education while immersing himself in a new culture. NTU and Singapore offered the perfect blend of all these criteria through its renown academics and fusion of cultures existing in harmony.
