First-Year Recommended Requirements
Requirements for admission to the College of Engineering are one year of physics with a lab, one year of chemistry with a lab, and four years of mathematics (algebra I, algebra II, geometry/trigonometry, and pre-calculus).
If you have taken AP exams and have earned a score of four and above, you may be able to receive course credit. A score of five is needed to receive credit for either of the two AP Physics exams. For more information about transferring AP exam credit or other college credits, please contact the College of Engineering Undergraduate Advising Center.
First-Year Application Instructions and Deadlines
The College of Engineering uses both the Common Application and the Coalition Application. We offer Early Decision, with all application materials due on November 1; Early Action, with all application materials due on November 1; and Regular Decision, with all application materials due on January 15.
The University Admissions Office will provide information on the process, co-op, tuition, deadlines, exceptions and more details.
