The Intensive English Program at Drexel prepares students for academic study at an American university. The courses offered are designed to meet the academic, personal, and professional needs of students.
The program offers eight levels of study from beginner to advanced. All incoming students take a placement test to determine a student's level. Intensive English Program students are in classes 21 hours a week and five days a week, Monday through Friday.
When available, students with advanced level English proficiency may select courses from among four tracks: Intensive English, Global Business English (GLOBE), Language of STEM, and Language of Media & Design.
