From an Epidemiologist at Dornsife: Additional Perspectives on COVID-19

Michael LeVasseur, PhD, MPH, visiting assistant professor of epidemiology and biostatistics at the Dornsife School of Public Health, discusses some commonly asked questions about the coronavirus disease outbreak (COVID-19) and ways to prevent infection.

LeVasseur has been following the outbreak since late December 2019. He presents an overview of mutations, new information on clinical aspects of the virus (such as clot disorders, anosmia/ageusia, and the pediatric multi-site inflammatory syndrome in children), vaccines in development, issues surrounding immunity, problems with testing, and some information on prevention.
