Drexel Doctoral Student to Present Disparities Research at International Developmental Disabilities Conference

Dornsife School of Public Health student Evelyn Arana, a fourth-year doctoral candidate in Community Health and Prevention, has been invited to give an oral presentation of her dissertation research at the 16th World Congress of the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) in Melbourne, Australia this August. Arana's research, "Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Mammography Utilization Among Women with Intellectual Disabilities in Philadelphia," was awarded an R36 AHRQ Dissertation grant.
