Calling all #NewDragons! Incoming students will begin their journey at Drexel University during Welcome Week, September 16–22. Welcome Week gives new Drexel students, including both first-year and transfer students, the opportunity to experience campus and get to know each other before classes start.

The annual College Day will be held on Tuesday, September 17. All College of Arts and Sciences students are invited to join us from 2–4 p.m. in the Papadakis Integrated Sciences Building (PISB) Atrium for a Resource Fair. Representatives from the college's various student groups and resource centers will be there to discuss the clubs and academic support available as you transition to your first year at Drexel. Meet your fellow classmates and enjoy food, swag, music and more. 

College Day also offers the opportunity to learn more about your new major in the College of Arts and Sciences. Each of the college’s 13 departments will host a unique session to introduce you to faculty and fellow students and discuss the various opportunities you will have as a student. Biology majors will participate in fun lab activities, politics majors will take a tour of City Hall, while global studies majors will embark on a field trip to experience the rich culture Philadelphia has to offer. 

Drexel’s ‘Global Expo,’ hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Global Studies and Modern Languages, will take place on Thursday, September 19 from 9–11:30 a.m. in Behrakis Grand Hall. This expansive fair will showcase the many global and international resources that Drexel has to offer, such as student groups, study abroad and foreign languages, and will include plenty of activities, games and prizes!
